School Meals
Hot meals are available every day in school. They are cooked in a central kitchen and transported to school. Meals are ordered at home by families via ParentPay, which means that parents can have full control of what food children are eating in school. Click here to view the current menu.
Parents can check whether they are eligible for free school meals by clicking here. All children in Reception, Year One and Year Two receive a free meal through the universal system, however it is important that parents who qualify for free school meals make an application as this means school will receive further funding to support their child’s education. It may also mean free meals will be available beyond year two.
Parents who pay for meals should pay via our online payment system ParentPay. Please see the school office for support with logging on.
Children may bring packed lunches into school in a named plastic container. Our Healthy School status is an important part of our school ethos and we therefore request that sweets, large chocolate bars or fizzy drinks are not included. Glass bottles should not be used for drinks. We also ask that parents consider not using single use plastic (such as cling film and disposable bottles) in lunch boxes.
Water is available for children to drink throughout the day. Parents may send a named water bottle to school, however this is not a requirement.
Children may choose to bring a piece of fresh fruit or vegetable for morning break. This is provided for children in Foundation Stage and Key Stage One.
